Panama is fast becoming the preferred destination for vacations and relocations. Expatriates are becoming more and more interested in moving to Panama, with many Americans favoring it due to its close proximity to the United States. For many Americans, moving to Panama is not much different from moving from the West Coast to the East Coast. The reasons for moving to Panama include retirement, a vacation in its beaches, a visit with friends and relatives, work, investments, and starting a new life. Whatever your reason for moving to Panama, you can be sure that the country and its people will not dissatisfy you.

Aside from its beautiful beaches on both the Atlantic and Pacific sides and its cosmopolitan atmosphere, moving to Panama has its benefits. Since Panama is an international business center, you will encounter little difficulty in dealing with business. Since it is also a transit country, transportation and communication is modern and convenient. Since it is the most highly industrialized country with by far the most developed economy in Central America and consider third one in Latin America.

There are many ways available to expatriates who wish to move to Panama. The country has a very straightforward and direct visa program including Tourist Pensioner Visa, the Private Income Retiree Visa, the Small Business Investor Visa, Temporary Immigrant Visa and Student Visa. From children to retired persons, from individuals to families, moving to Panama is easy and convenient. The country has a wealth of natural and man-made riches to offer expatriates, ranging from seemingly endless coastlines, a tropical climate, an excellent education system, an efficient medical system, a myriad of business and investment opportunities, and a stable peace and order situation, to its hospitable and warm people.

For pet lovers, moving to Panama should not a problem. Over all the process is simple, though you must be warned that the rules are quite strict. Some basic requirements include a veterinary certification from your home country and the Panamanian consulate, and in-home quarantine (which you must send a letter of request to the Panama Department of health at least two weeks before arrival).

As to moving household effects, with the logistics of packing, finding the right moving company, preparing the legal documents and dealing with customs agents. It is recommended that you buy your furniture and appliances in Panama, but the choice is still yours. We recommend always to be advised by a real estate company with knowledge in relocation and legal services.

After the papers and the packing, moving to Panama involves learning on your part. You need to learn conversational Spanish to get you by in the first few weeks of your move. Although, English is widely spoken here, it will not hurt to learn a few Spanish. Although Panama is cosmopolitan, you also need to learn a new culture for it can have nuances and subtleties alien to your old country.

You can start enjoying the place we call home and the home we call paradise. Venga gozar de Panamá!

How To Share A Child Poem

For a child, poems are very abstract. They do not have the flashy colors, vibrant energy or loud explosions of Saturday morning cartoons and display little of the exciting, adventurous tones of a particularly engaging comic book. However, to a child, poems that strike the right cord are not impossible to find. You just need to find the right child poem. A child poem is not very much unlike a normal poem. It is however, written and directed toward children, offering details that they would enjoy.

Poetry is a fickle art form with millions of examples; many of them brilliant, many of them awful, and a great deal of them quite dull or too complicated for a child. To strike the right note early on with a child, poems that are simple and interesting are vital. They also serve to create a growing interest in reading at a young age.

What to look for in a Child Poem

Children’s poetry in the 20th century has a very unique flavor to it, having been developed and institutionalized by writers like Dr. Seuss and Shel Silverstein. However, they were not the first to write child poems and should not be the last place a parent looks when trying to find the perfect one. With that in mind, what exactly should those parents look for?

A child poem should be lighthearted
A compelling storyline is also a great selling point for a child poem.
Abstract emotion and metaphor will bore a child.
Child Poems should not create unwanted situations with awkward, touchy subjects.
A child poem should be written to entertain, not solely teach. A good combination is always good though.

Who to turn to for a Child Poem

Many of the great writers of children’s literature also wrote poetry during their lives. Lewis Carroll is a great example. Famous for Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass, Carroll’s poetry is equally as compelling. Jabberwocky is a great, funny nonsense child poem from those books:

'Twas brillig, and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe;
All mimsy were the borogoves,
And the mome raths outgrabe.

"Beware the Jabberwock, my son!
The jaws that bite, the claws that catch!
Beware the Jubjub bird, and shun
The frumious Bandersnatch!"

Rudyard Kipling also wrote his fair share of poetry alongside his novels. Famous for his work on The Jungle Book among many other adventurous children’s stories, Kipling wrote poems like Gunga Din, long story driven pieces that were both funny and compelling for young children.

Louisa May Alcott, the famous author of Little Women and Little Men and an almost essential writer in the canon of American literature wrote her own share of goofy child poems as well. Poems such as “The Rock and the Bubble” and “A Song from the Suds” are funny, entertaining distractions for children. Her poems especially strike at the curiosity of a child, the most important target for any literary work, lest that child grows bored too quickly

Education is the key to success in the casinos. The more you know the better your chances of making your dreams come true. Here we have laid out the foundation for you to start your learning.

Play:

Every game in the casino entices players with promises of riches beyond the imagination, but most of these games the chances of getting those riches are so astronomically against you it is better to avoid the ones that deal with luck. Games like slot machines, keno and even craps, which has the best odds for the player in the entire casino is all about luck. Stick to games of skill such as poker, blackjack, you do have to deal with the luck of the draw but after that it is all about the skill and experience required to win especially if you are trying to win big.

Education:

Trying to learn several games at the same time just makes it all that much longer before you become proficient at any of the games you are trying to learn. This is because you will be splitting your practice time between several games instead of putting all your efforts into one game. Figure out which game you enjoy the most and start with that one. So if you enjoy playing Texas Holdem then make that your game and dedicate all your free time to improving your game and your understanding of the game.

Skill:

If you project the attitude of a winner people will look at you as a winner, and at the poker table this can be a big advantage. If people see you are confident they may fall for a bluff more easily and they may play more conservatively against you. This will give an experienced player all the edge he needs to come out on top.

Clothing:

How you dress can earn you some respect or lose you some respect. Dressing in a suite is not necessary, but by dressing neat and clean people will give you more respect then someone sitting at the $20 table, wearing a shirt with Spencer patches, sunglasses and a hat pulled down over their eyes just looks like a fool and makes everyone laugh at you. If this is part of your strategy then ok but if you think it will make people fear your skill let me tell you know it will not work.

Money:

As the old saying goes it takes money to make money, and if you want to take home a chunk of the casinos money you are going to have to be realistic. You are not going to win a fortune playing blackjack for 20 dollars a hand. You will need to play big to win big. You should be betting the casino max, which is usually around $1,000 a hand. You are going to need a substantial bank roll, but that does not mean that you should throw money at every single hand, if you are not getting any good hand you can always change tables, and many casinos will allow you to request a new dealer.

Players:

In a game like Blackjack where the other player's mistakes can make the difference between you winning and you losing money in the casino, you need to make sure to pick a table with experienced players. In blackjack you do not need to worry about playing with better players because you are all only playing against the dealer.

This little bit of knowledge and some common sense can help make the difference between taking home the casinos money and leaving your money with the casino. So make sure to stop think and study before attempting to go for it, and always remember once you are up do not get greedy when things start to go against you take your winnings and walk away 9 times out of 10 this is how you will lose you winnings.
